GAMM Game Museum invites you this Saturday at 4:00 PM for the panel “Female Leadership in the Gaming Industry,” in partnership with @Women in Games Italia, with discounted museum admission for all female visitors in celebration of March 8th!

📢 The talk will feature WIG Italy ambassadors Cristina Nava (Executive Producer at Day4Night), Eleonora Lucheroni (Senior Associate Producer at Ubisoft Milan), and Micaela Romanini (Founder of WIG Italy), moderated by Marco Accordi Rickards (Director of GAMM).

Here are some details about our speakers:

Cristina Nava

Cristina Nava is the co-founder and Executive Producer of Day 4 Night Studios, an independent video game development studio made up of industry veterans. Previously, she was a Producer at Ubisoft Milan, where she contributed to BAFTA, DICE, and The Game Awards-winning titles Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (2017) and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (2022), developed by Ubisoft in collaboration with Nintendo.

Cristina began her career as a writer, transitioning into the video game industry from the world of comics, cinema, and TV. She wrote for popular Italian comic magazines such as Lanciostory and Skorpio before moving on to develop new IPs—storylines, characters, and narratives—for RAI and The Walt Disney Company Italy. Her journey with Ubisoft started in 2008 when she joined Ubisoft Milan as a writer before moving to the “dark side of game development” as an associate producer and later a producer.

Beyond the Mario + Rabbids series, Cristina has worked on Ghost Recon and Just Dance franchises. Her latest released game is Star Wars Outlaws (2024). In addition to her producer role, Cristina is a proud BAFTA member and juror, a public speaker on video game industry topics, and the recipient of the “Outstanding Individual Contribution” award at the 2023 Italian Video Game Awards and the Women in Games Award of Distinction for Notable Contributions to Building Fair Playing Field (2024).

Eleonora Lucheroni

Eleonora Lucheroni is a Producer and Business Development Manager in the video game development industry. Since 2021, she has been working at Ubisoft Milan, contributing to award-winning AAA titles such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Mario + Rabbids.

With over twelve years of experience, she has gained international expertise in some of Italy’s leading game studios. A graduate in Japanese Language and Literature from La Sapienza University in Rome, she began her career in Osaka in translation and localization.

After returning to Italy, she joined the Rome-based studio Storm in a Teacup as Marketing and PR Manager, culminating in the release of the indie title Close to the Sun. Later, she moved to Milan, working at Ovosonico (later Avantgarden) as a Business Developer Manager and Producer. Her diverse career, spanning different professional roles—from communication to production—has given her a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of the video game industry. Her broad interests, curiosity, genuine passion for gaming, and dynamic, direct communication style are key strengths in her professional profile.

Micaela Romanini

Micaela Romanini is an Ambassador of Women in Games and the Founder of Women in Games Italia. She is a Consultant specializing in Games, Culture & Creativity, Sustainability, and Diversity.
